Children
are the future
of
Armenia

but you, as a young professional, are the current potential leaders of our country. Having the audacious vision of shaping our nation by providing excellent educational opportunities for all children in Armenia, we do not only concentrate on the students or in other words the future of our country, but also, on the present time leaders like you.

Mentorship
and
Support

Throughout Summer Institute and our intensive two-year Leadership Development Program, you will benefit from a personalized and rigorous mentorship program led by our Training and Support team.

Our Mentors are teaching professionals with vast experience in education. Mentors provide you with ongoing pedagogical, leadership and management support so you can develop the skills needed to maximize your impact on student achievement.

Our training and support model is realized through ongoing leadership development workshops, classroom observations, analyses of student performance data, community engagement, as well as flexible and differentiated support for each Fellow.

Monthly
Workshops

As a Teach For Armenia Fellow you will participate in monthly workshops and receive additional training on teaching strategies from the Training and Support team. You will gain insight on leadership strategies from renowned social and business leaders and participate in discussions and brainstorming sessions with your peers to generate new ideas and problem-solve challenges during your journey towards transformational teaching.

Teacher
Certification

If you do not have a pedagogical degree prior to the start of the program, you will be enrolled in a Master’s program in Education at the Gyumri State Pedagogical Institute concurrent to your Teach for Armenia two-year commitment. All expenses will be covered under the Teach For Armenia Fellowship. Earning a pedagogical degree will provide you with an opportunity to gain extensive and locally relevant pedagogical knowledge, and equip you with the necessary tools to continue a career in education beyond your two-year commitment to Teach For Armenia, should you choose to.
